This Man Must Die is a 1969 French thriller directed by Claude Chabrol about a man who seeks revenge after his young son is killed in a hit and run.

The film was released on videocassette twice: once by Allied Artists Video in an English-dubbed version (though the packaging erroneously said the presentation was subtitled), in 1978, and again by Key Video as part of its French Collection (it is unknown whether this release was dubbed or subtitled), just after Bastille Day, in 1986.

The film is rated PG by the Motion Picture Association.
